About

Software applications, also known as application or “app”, is a computer software designed to help user to perform certain tasks. For example, company software, accounting software, Office suites, graphics software and media players. Many application programs primarily deal with the document. Applications can be bundled with your computer and system software, or may be published separately. Some users are satisfied with the application package and never need to install one.

Application software contrasts with system software and middleware, which manages and integrates the capabilities of the computer, but typically do not directly apply them in the performance of tasks that benefit the user. Software systems serve applications, which in turn serves users.

The same relationship applies in other areas. For example, the shopping centre does not provide merchandise shopper is looking for, but it provides the space and to retailers that cater to shoppers. The railway also supports the train, allowing the train to carry passengers.
